Patricia Jiménez is the webmaster for USHM and has worked for over 20 years in the areas of youth ministry, catechesis, and teaching and administering lay formation programs. Patty has experience in parish, academia, and diocesan ministry and has been a speaker at local, regional, and national events. She received her Doctorate in Ministry specializing in Hispanic and Latino Theology and Ministry at Barry University in Miami, Florida, a Masters in Theological Studies and a Masters in Ministry for a Multicultural Church from the Franciscan School of Theology in Berkeley, Ca. Director of Catechetical Services

The Ministries Office for the Catholic Diocese of Dallas is currently accepting resumes for the position of Director of Catechetical Services. The position involves overseeing the department of catechesis. The Director will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the Diocesan Catechetical plan in the parishes working with parish catechetical leaders and diocesan staff. The Director will interface with pastors, parish staffs and diocesan departments in the area of catechesis. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.  Click here for more information.

 

Diocesan Director of Catechesis

The Diocese of Venice in Florida is seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Director of Catechesis. The Director provides leadership, direction and support to the parishes and schools of the diocese, assisting them in implementing effective catechetical and religious formation programs.

Requirements: An active Catholic experienced in catechesis; graduate degree in theology or religious studies; 3-5 years administrative experience in diocesan religious education or parish setting. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred. Click here for more information.
