The Diocese of St. Augustine is seeking a full-time Director for our Youth and Young Adult Ministry. Come join us in Jacksonville, Florida !!! We are looking for just the right candidate…someone who is dynamic, creative, culturally sensitive, spiritually inspired and ready to embrace the youth and young adult populations in northeast Florida.
Overall responsibilities will include: providing resources to parishes; coordinating diocesan-wide programs, fundraisers, special events, and workshops for leadership development; encouraging ministry where there is none; and communicating and collaborating with parishes, diocesan offices, parents and volunteers.
Applicants must be a practicing Catholic and a member in good standing of a Catholic parish, have at least a Bachelor’s degree in religious studies, and have 3 – 5 years of parish or diocesan experience with young Catholics. Bilingual English – Spanish is preferred….sensitivity to the needs of Hispanic youth ministry is required.
