Washington, DC- The National Team of Accompaniment towards the V Encuentro (ENAHVE) is excited to announce a Padrino Partnership with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) for the V Encuentro Nacional Hispano/Latino de Pastoral. CRS is the second organization to commit to a $35,000 per year contribution for the next five years for a total contribution of $175,000 towards the V Encuentro. Their commitment also includes the support and presence of many of their staff at the national and regional level.
Headquartered in Baltimore, MD Catholic Relief Services was founded in 1943 by the Catholic Bishops of the United States to serve World War II survivors in Europe. Since then, CRS has expanded in size to reach more than 85 million people in 101 countries on five continents.
Their mission is to assist impoverished and disadvantaged people overseas, working in the spirit of Catholic social teaching to promote the sacredness of human life and the dignity of the human person.
