At ushispanicministry.com we offer mentorship and accompaniment for Hispanics/Latinos wishing to pursue formation and/or advanced degrees in ministry or theology. Individual mentorship sessions are offered online via Skype, Facetime, Google Chat or by phone in English, Spanish or Bilingual conversations. Mentees are matched up with an experienced veteran in Hispanic/Latino Ministry/Theology. Mentees receive information about the various formation and degree programs available as well as how to fund their studies. Mentees are also invited to participate in online group chats with other mentees who are also discerning a call to pastoral ministry/theological studies. Although Hispanics/Latinos are estimated to soon make up the largest percentage of Catholics in the U.S., they continue to be underrepresented in paid/professional leadership positions at the local and national level as well as in theological seminaries, Catholic Institutions and formation programs. We at ushispanicministry.com commit ourselves to accompany, support, encourage, guide and learn from current and future Hispanic/Latino Catholics who will serve the entire Catholic population in the U.S.
