Coordinator, Latino School Enrollment
The Coordinator for Latino School Enrollment for the Archdiocese of Omaha supports Catholic school principals and pastors with outreach and marketing efforts designed to increase Latino enrollment in strategically selected Catholic communities. The incumbant: understands and meets the unique and various cultural needs of Latino Catholics; will lead professional development opportunities geared towards educating school leadership and staff to more effectively respond to the needs of Latino families; will network extensively with the Latino community, providing direct Catholic school marketing efforts to prospective school families; will explore corporate support for improving Catholic school latino enrollment; will aid in fundraising/development initaitives to help support tuition costs for Latino families; will research best practices regarding Latino outreach and Catholic education and works with Curia Offices, including the Latino Ministry Office and the Stewardship and Development Office. Manager, Latino Ministry Office
The Manager of Latino Ministry Office supports pastors and parish leaders in the Urban Deaneries of the Archdiocese of Omaha providing sacramental preparation to the Spanish-speaking Latino community. Works with Curia Offices, including: Family Life, Evangelization and Cathechsis, Worship and Catholic Schools to develop and offer ministries. The incumbant: understands and meets the particular and various cultural needs of Latino Catholics. This office facilitates communication between the Curia Offices to educate and advise and collaborate with diocesan leaders, pastors and the Latino community. In collaboration with these Offices, this office implements ministries in Adult and Youth formation and forming and certifying Spanish-speaking Catechists and implements ministries for forming Latino leaders for other church ministries. Coordinator of Hispanic Ministry
Sts. Joseph and Paul Parish in Owensboro KY is seeking a full time Coordinator of Hispanic Ministry. Candidate must be a practicing Catholic, possess a deep sense of mission work and outreach in the Church with Immigrants of first and second generation and experience in attending to the pastoral and social needs of Hispanics in the US. Sts. Joseph and Paul serves a very mobile population of Hispanics that includes Latin-American indigenous from Mexico and Guatemala. Hispanic Ministry outreach responsibilities cover not only Daviess County in which Owensboro is located in but two other neighboring counties. Being fully bilingual Spanish – English is required.
